3. Purpose of Processing & Legal Basis

We process personal data strictly in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP Act, 2023) and global best practices for:

  • Administering academic, leadership, and non-technical skill upliftment initiatives.
  • Issuing verified certificates of completion and official summit credentials.
  • Providing secure authentication and role-based access to the LEADS ERP dashboard.
  • Responding to stakeholder inquiries, corporate partnership proposals, and speaker invitations.
  • Fulfilling statutory academic reporting and accreditation requirements with university authorities.

4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Protections

LEADS Next Gen Centre enforces a strict zero-sale policy: We do not sell, rent, monetize, or broker personal attendee data to commercial marketers or unauthorized entities.

Data is shared strictly on a need-to-know basis with:

  • Academic Administration: Faculty of Management and Commerce (FMC) and Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences (RUAS) for legitimate governance and academic accreditation.
  • Trusted Infrastructure Providers: Secure hosting platforms, transactional email gateways, and database backup servers operating under strict data processing agreements.
  • Legal & Regulatory Authorities: When compelled by valid judicial order or applicable Indian laws.
